For the forgotten memory
I didn't understand before
Since I want to forget
Why to commemorate
Today I want to understand
For history
We need to remember his heaviness
I can't carry this heavy forward
May 19, 1938The fall of Xuzhou
80 years later
The beacon has gone
The hatred also gradually blurred
But now Xuzhou people should know
How terrible was the war then
How hard is it for people to live under the iron hoof
Eighty years ago, Xuzhou was a strategic place for the Japanese to invade China and the front line of the Chinese people's Anti Japanese struggle. In the eight years of the fall of Xuzhou, people's lives and property suffered heavy losses. Japanese invaders committed numerous crimes in Xuzhou. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people of Xuzhou share the same hatred and fight hard. The Anti Japanese armed forces are surging. The Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army march forward to Xuzhou. They have successively established five base areas, including Huxi, Pisuitong, Lunan, Xiaosu copper and Musuhai. The army and the people of Xuzhou were tenacious in the Anti Japanese War, and many heroic figures emerged, writing a glorious chapter for the victory of the Chinese people's Anti Japanese war. Xuzhou people's war of resistance has been justly reported and supported by Chinese and foreign journalists, and selfless humanitarian assistance from international friends.
