The exhibition of "The Great Han Dynasty - Epic on Stone", located in the South Hall, has six major parts. It interprets the charm contained in the Han culture and the soul of the two Han cultures with the collection of high-quality stone portraits. According to the scientific classification, the cultural relics are divided into 12 small units to show the various social forms of the Han Dynasty, such as clothing, food, housing, transportation, war and martial arts, music and dance, and fairy tales, and to represent a magnificent era. The whole exhibition is filled with a magnificent epic atmosphere.
1、 Shendao Tianlu
The Shinto sculptures in front of the tombs of the Han Dynasty, as well as large round sculptures of stone sheep and animals, are all important discoveries in China.
2、 Ancestral worship
The ancestral hall is the ground part of the tomb. The restoration shows the ancestral hall architecture of the Han Dynasty and the exquisite art of the ancestral hall portrait.
3、 Supernatural charm
Highlight the artistic characteristics of Han Dynasty stone reliefs, and display various stone reliefs with different carving styles, such as overcast line carving, shallow relief, high relief, and round carving, in order of the times, reflecting the superb skills of Han Dynasty artists.
4、 Qianqiu Underground Palace
The restoration and display of two Han stone tombs with different styles show the underground architectural art of the Han Dynasty.
5、 Han Stone Spring and Autumn
In the form of epic, the stone carvings with different contents, such as cattle farming, textile, horse and horse travel, banquet and drinking, music and dance, historical stories, myths and legends, are displayed according to the classification of the subject matter of the portraits, representing the rich theme of the stone carvings in the Han Dynasty.
6、 Inscription
More than 20 stone carvings with inscriptions on Han steles and inscriptions on them were exhibited, representing the outstanding achievements of calligraphy in the Han Dynasty. The exhibition comprehensively and stereoscopically reflects the achievements of Xuzhou Han Dynasty Stone Relics Art Museum in cultural relics collection, scientific research and display art, enabling the audience to understand Xuzhou Han Dynasty Stone Relics in an all-round way.
