Volunteer service

      From December 19 to 22, 2018, the first "National Museum Volunteer Training Course" was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, hosted by the Volunteer Working Committee of the China Museum Association and organized by the Ningbo Museum and the Ningbo Boyue Museum Cultural Development Foundation. 115 museum volunteers from 65 museums at all levels and of all kinds gathered in one hall. Xu Zhou Museum volunteers Hao Xinyao and Liu Xiaohong attended the training.

During the training, Director Chen Zenglu gave a lecture on "Interpretation and Museum Culture", Zhang Hexin, a volunteer of the Xi'an Museum, "Accompaniing Children in Love with the Museum - Tips and Principles of Museum Interpretation for Minors", Xu Xiaohong, a volunteer of the Hubei Museum, "We Are Practicing the Beauty - A Record of the Volunteer Work of the Hubei Provincial Museum", and An Laishun, a vice chairman, gave a lecture on "Museum Volunteer in the International Context" Director Jiang Lin's lecture on "How to Participate in the Museum Volunteer Program" brought a rich knowledge feast to the participating volunteers from the perspectives of museum science, museum volunteer management, hermeneutics, pedagogy, educational psychology, aesthetics and other aspects, from theory and practice.

The participants in this training are 115 museum volunteers from 65 museums at all levels and all kinds of museums across the country. As the museum volunteers put it on their lips, they are all family members. During the training activities, volunteers from all over the country met with old friends, and some became friends at first sight. They visited the famous museum volunteers, made friends with like-minded volunteers, and exchanged their work experience in the service and management of museum volunteers from all over the country. They visited the museum after a great learning feast, and had a warm discussion and communication, We benefited a lot from the training event.
