Volunteer service

From 2015 to 2016, there were more than 90 volunteers registered in Xuzhou Museum, including eight college associations, including 8 from Chutian Tourism Association of Jiangsu Normal University, 8 from the Radio Station of the Engineering College, 10 from the Youth Association of the Engineering College, 6 from the "Siyuan Society" of China University of Mining and Technology, 26 from the Youth Volunteer Association of Xuzhou University of Mining and Technology, 8 from Xuzhou Open University, 9 from the Hansen Tour Service of Jiangsu Normal University, and 10 from the 0.05 Degree Volunteer Association of the Engineering College. There are also 8 social volunteers.、

Xuzhou Museum joined the Xuzhou Volunteer Federation established by the Xuzhou Civilized Office in 2015. The volunteers of Xuzhou Museum Association mainly undertook the work of issuing visitor tickets, security inspection civilized guide, exhibition hall civilized supervisor, and interpreter during weekends and legal holidays, showing the demeanor and volunteer service spirit of contemporary college students.

Among them, the Youth Volunteer Association of China University of Mining and Technology carried out the project of "promoting culture and inheriting history" of "firewood culture" in Xuzhou Museum and won the first prize in the 2015 Jiangsu Youth Public Welfare Project Competition. This competition is to thoroughly implement the spirit of the mass work conference of the CPC Central and Provincial Party Committee, lead the healthy and orderly development of youth social organizations in the province, boost the development of public welfare charities, and promote social governance innovation. The 2015 Jiangsu Youth Public Welfare Project Competition, which was decided by the Provincial Youth League Committee and the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, is to collect excellent public welfare projects for the province, support the continuous and in-depth development of public welfare projects, and vigorously promote the new fashion of public welfare, Promote the development of youth associations.

The project of the Xuzhou Museum and the Youth Volunteer Association of China University of Mining and Technology aims at "inheriting and carrying forward the history and culture, promoting the development of public welfare undertakings", carrying out patriotic education and historical and cultural popularization in the Xuzhou Museum, and promoting it through exhibitions and new media. The project includes four activities: "Touch History", "Gupeng Treasure Hunting", "Help Xu Bo" and historical and cultural lectures. In the five years since the project was launched, the number of direct participants has exceeded 1500, more than 100 regular activities have been carried out, more than 40 theme activities have been held, serving tens of thousands of visitors, and it has been widely praised by all sectors of society.
