The Miao Taizi Sites is located in the Northern of Quandong Village in Jiawang District. It is a platform-shaped sites which is higher than the surrounding earth surface, covering about 10000 m2 area. We excavated this sites twice in 2002 and 2010, altogether unearthed 350 m2 sites. The cultural layer is 1.5 to 2.6 m and the times is the middle and late period of Western Zhou Dynasty.
The wall is supported by thick trunks and fenced by small wattles, and finally pasted by mud. The surface of the walls and floor were smoothed by fine silt. The passage and pillar holes of some the the rooms were preserved well, and we find pottery Ge, pottery pots, pottery basins and the other articles of daily use in some of the rooms.
