From December 12 to 13, Secretary Fan Guiqiang and the delegation from Shaanxi Institute for the Preservation of Culture Heritage led a group of five people to visit Xuzhou Museum for investigation. First of all, Secretary Fan and his crew made an on-the-spot inspection at the excavation site of No.2 tomb in Tushan, listened to the introduction of archaeologists and cultural protection personnel on the structure of the tomb and the hidden dangers of the safety about the cultural relics, and put forward suggestions for the next rescue and reinforcement work.
Secretary Fan focused on matters related to the station set up by Xuzhou Museum, which is a key scientific research base of the State Cultural Relics Bureau on brick and stone conservation, and had a discussion with curator Li Xiaojun on relevant matters. During the talks, curator Li Xiaojun introduced the brick and stone cultural relics resources, the cultural relics protection personnel and the progress of the construction of scientific research laboratory, and expressed his expectation to promote the high-quality development of Xuzhou Museum through cooperation with high-level cultural and scientific research institutions. Secretary Fan recognized as a municipal Museum, the development and infrastructure of Xuzhou Museum, and expressed confidence in the long-term cooperation and basic scientific research between Shaanxi Institute for the Preservation of Culture Heritage and Xuzhou Museum in the future.
During the investigation, Secretary Fan and his crew visited the main exhibition building and the intangible cultural heritage exhibition area of sachets, expressed their appreciation for the new exhibition forms and rich collection resources of Xuzhou Museum, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions for the future cultural relics protection work of Xuzhou Museum.
