Xuzhou Museum Volunteer Project Participated in the Third Volunteer Service Exhibition and Exchange Conference of Jiangsu Province

      From September 8 to 9, 2018, the Third Volunteer Service Exhibition and Exchange Conference of Jiangsu Province jointly sponsored by the publicity department of Jiangsu provincial committee of the communist party of China, the provincial cultural office, the provincial civil affairs department and the provincial communist youth league committee, was held in Changzhou.
      With the theme of "Volunteer Service is Good for You and Me", the fair sets up 15 exhibition areas with 470 key projects on display. Meanwhile, it organizes a series of colorful activities, such as the introduction of high-quality projects, volunteer classes, theme salons and volunteer cultural sharing.

      Xuzhou selects a total of 20 outstanding volunteer service projects. The project "Seed of Culture" selected by Xuzhou museum volunteer committee -- Xuzhou historical and cultural popularization volunteer service project was recommended as a key project of Xuzhou and displayed at the volunteer fair. The project takes advantage of Xuzhou museum volunteer public lecture, culture and community endowment institutions, teenager culture education, traditional culture forum to excavate Xuzhou Han culture connotation. With the specific cultural relics and history as the background, the project closely combines the cultural relics resources of Han dynasty of Xuzhou museum with the local history through the planning and participation of volunteers, so as to carry forward the unique Xuzhou cultural resources of Han dynasty and meet the cultural needs of the grassroots as well.

      Xuzhou museum has nearly 500 registered volunteers. Xuzhou museum in recent years has strengthened the management of volunteer training, enhanced the level of volunteer service, set up excellent teams of volunteers, established the volunteer incentive mechanism, vigorously promoted volunteerism institutionalization, carried out all kinds of volunteer services, actively expanded voluntary services, making efforts to promote the volunteer service as Xuzhou museum public service brand.
