Wang Kai, born in Peixian, Jiangsu in May 1936, graduated in Archaeology, Department of History, Peking University in 1963, and is an outstanding graduate of Peking University. He once served as the leader of the archaeological team of Shizishan Tombs of the King Chu and the director and researcher of the Xuzhou Han Terracotta Army Museum, and is now retired. He is a librarian of the Jiangsu History and Culture Museum and a member of the 6th, 7th and 8th of the CPPCC in Jiangsu. He once led archaeological excavations and published more than 70 articles.
Brief introduction of lecture content:
After graduating in Archeology, Department of History, Peking University in 1963, Mr. Wang chaired the excavations of Hanjiacang tomb of the Sui and Tang dynasties in Luoyang and Shizishan tomb of Chu. What happened during these important excavations? What difficulties did the archeological work experience? Xuzhou Museum invited Mr. Wang Kai to tell everyone about his archaeological life, so stay tuned.
