Gunpowder is used in the military field and is the most important innovation in the history of war. The age of combined use of firearms and cold weapons should be from the Northern Song Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty, which lasted about 9 centuries.

By the Ming Dynasty, muskets had begun to enter a formal battle sequence, and the quality of firearms had also been greatly improved compared to the past. This explanation also involved fire tribulus, scorpion owls, bowl owls, Fran machine guns, smooth-bore firearms, and stick artillery.
