This bronze seal is cast with a brigedshaped ornamental knob. The inscription is carved in negative relief with the characters Chu Sima Yin. Sima was the title of a senior Chu miitary official. A pproximately 200 bronze seals were found in Shizishan bearing inscriptions indicating she titles of court officials, military officials and county officials who served for the Chu kingdom.
