Lipan (1656----1729) styled himself Xianli, or Genyan with his pseudonym Laixi. He was born in Xuzhou and got the number one scholar in the Imperial Examination on the 36th year of Kangxi’s reign.Mr Li was good at poems and calligraphy. This works is much like Wang’s writing, but it does has something new in strokes. It is very rare.
