Wang Yun (1652-?), whose courtesy name was Hanzao, and pseudonym was Zhuli, was native of Gaoyou, Jiangsu. He was adept at elaborate style painting of green hills and clear waters and figures. With a style similar to Qiu Ying, he was well-known in the periods of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Yongzheng. This landscape painting with elaborate style has been his masterpiece for generations.
